This course was conducted in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University. It was very useful for sedimentologists, geologists and geophysicists.
The attendees considered matters related to sedimentology of carbonate reservoir formation, generation of reservoir properties and study methods. Besides, secondary variations of carbonate reservoirs, which play an important role in oil and gas recovery, were examined. The programme also included geophysical methods of well surveying and use of seismic data for carbonate reservoir study.
CJSC MiMGO specialists also seized the opportunity of seeing vast collections of the Geological and History Museums of Kazan University.
