The recent trend is to conduct 3D seismic surveys in areas with developed infrastructure, where the applied standard field work methods and approaches to seismic quality assessment become ineffective for further confident determination of the properties and characteristics of productive formations.

Specialists of CJSC "MiMGO" made a presentation on the topic: "Implementation of a combined approach to assessing the quality and processing of field seismic data obtained by various equipment, due to the complex surface conditions of the work site."

The report highlighted the topic of implementing approaches to the assessment methodology at the stage of acceptance of field seismic data and their subsequent processing to obtain results suitable for solving the set geological problems.

The main problems of the research area related to the integration of various sources and recording systems, as well as the presence of extensive technogenic zones, were identified, the heterogeneous quality of data was illustrated, and the flexible approach implemented by specialists to making decisions on material rejection was illustrated.

Team leader of Well Driven Seismic team Irina A. Bagrova described the key stages of processing in such difficult surface conditions.
