Ivan V. Panchenko graduated from Moscow State University, He has a master's degree in Geology. He also received a research degree under supervision of Prof. E.Yu. Baraboshkin.
He has been working for CJSC MiMGO since 2013.
Ivan V. Panchenko has research and production experience in pre-Jurassic basement of the Western Siberia research, core laboratory study, geological modeling, prospect evaluation, hydrocarbon reserves estimation, geosteering of directional and horizontal wells. He is an author and co-author of core and cuttings study methods.
He has worked in various regions: Western Siberia, Yenisey-Khatanga Regional Trough, Volga-Ural Petroleum and Gas Province, Timan-Pechora Basin, Fore-Caucasus, south-eastern coast of Sakhalin.
His scope of academic interests covers stratigraphy, sedimentology and geochemistry of Bazhenov Formation, Domanic Formation, Khaduma Superhorizon, pre-Jurassic basement of the Western Siberia; regional geology, lithology, geochemistry, event stratigraphy, palaeoecology, palaeogeography, stratigraphy of Jurassic and Cretaceous areas, tuffs.
He is the author and co-author of over 50 academic papers.
