Sergey S. Gavrilov graduated from Lithology and Marine Geology Department of Geology Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
PhD (Geology). Thesis: 3D geological modeling of natural reservoirs on the basis of litholologic and facies analysis (illustrated by Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous depositions of the Western Siberia)
Sergey S. Gavrilov conducts lectures and classes on the following courses: "Geological and geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields" and "Practical sedimentology in oil and gas geology".
He participates with reports on lithology and oil and gas geology in all-Russia and international conferences. He is the author of about 30 articles. Besides, he is a co-author of 4 state patents for inventions.
Sergey S. Gavrilov has been working for CJSC MiMGO since 2003.
Under his charge, the personnel's number has grown four times, and the scope of activity has been expanded. Cooperation with a lot of Russian and international oil producers has been established.
Sergey S. Gavrilov is a member of the Eurasian Union of Experts on Subsoil (EUES) and a guest expert of the Federal State-Funded Institution "State Commission for Mineral Reserves".
