Olga B. Yampolskaya graduated from Saratov Chernyshevsky State University (CSU) in 2002. She is a PhD in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.
She was a research assistant and an assistant professor at CSU General Geology Department from 2003 to 2010. Olga B. Yampolskaya taught General Geology, Geotectonics, and held field geological studies. She has participated in research work: she has been a supervisor and executive of over 10 grant projects (Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Federal Special-Purpose Programme "Integration"), and is the author and co-author of over 30 publications on magnetostratigraphy. Besides, she has taken part in R&D expeditions to the Crimean Mountains, the Komi Republic, the Nether-Polar Urals, the Volga Region, and in international and all-Russia scientific seminars and conferences.
From 2010 to 2014, Olga B. Yampolskaya worked in a territorial division of the Federal Agency for Mineral Resources (Rosnedra), where she was in charge of the following: geological data systematization and presentation, database management; geological data packages for arranging competitions and subsurface auctions; creation and update of various electronic maps; solving various licensing tasks for subsoil users.
She has been working for CJSC MiMGO since 2014. At the moment, Olga B. Yampolskaya Chief Geological. Thanks to Ms. Yampolskaya's participation, various projects of different scale have been successfully carried out: for oil and gas companies (including Gazpromneft, LUKOIL, Norilskgazprom, RusGazAlliance, Nordimperial, NNK, and other), for state enterprises (FSBI "VNIGNI", Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of the Russian Academy of Sciences). Hydrocarbon reserves estimation, geological study and exploration planning have been organized. Besides, expert review tracking has been launched.
She specializes in evaluating hydrocarbon prospectivity for both distributed and unallocated subsurface funds. Prospectivity evaluation methodology has been actively developing.
Olga B. Yampolskaya is a geology expert of the Eurasian Union of Experts on Subsoil (EUES) and the Federal State Institution "Rosgeolekspertiza".
